Dulcora started with a minicar. But not with the idea of selling accessories.
Dulcora Italian Comfort began with a Citroën Ami driven every day.
After years behind the wheel, I knew its strengths well. I also knew the limitations you only notice when a minicar is part of your everyday life: basic seats, limited space and features designed above all to be simple and functional.
That led to a question
Could we keep everything that makes these cars practical, while making them more comfortable and enjoyable to use?
That question became Dulcora. Rather than looking for universal accessories to adapt, we develop products around the cars themselves: their seats, their spaces and the way they are used every day.
At 18, I turned this idea into a real project, combining my first-hand experience with the expertise of specialist Italian workshops that have worked in textiles for over forty years.
These two kinds of experience define Dulcora: we know the minicar because we use it, and we know the product because we work with people who know how to make it.
We don’t adapt products to minicars. We start with the minicars.
Every Dulcora product starts with a specific need. We don’t add something simply because it might sell. First we find a real problem, then we develop a solution that makes sense for that car.
Making our products in Italy isn’t a detail. It’s part of the design.
Dulcora works with Italian workshops with decades of textile experience. For us, making products in Italy is more than a phrase to print on a label.
It means developing each product alongside the people who make it, adjusting dimensions, choosing materials, changing a detail and continuing to improve it.
It’s how we work.
A practical product can still have personality.
Minicars are simple, personal and often instantly recognisable. That’s why Dulcora products come in different colour combinations and can be personalised with embroidery.
Not to turn them into decorative objects, but because something you use every day can reflect who you are.
This is just the beginning.
Dulcora began by making a seat more comfortable. But the goal isn’t to become a seat cover company.
The goal is to develop products that make life on board minicars more comfortable, more practical and more personal.
